Terms of service

Beta document.These terms govern use of U-Screen during our private beta. They'll be replaced with a formal MSA before general availability. Reach out via the contact page with any questions.

Effective: May 17, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating a U-Screen account or accessing the platform, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The service

U-Screen provides AI-assisted first-round interview tooling including scheduling, live video interviews, transcript generation, and automated scoring against job descriptions you provide.

3. Beta status

U-Screen is in private beta. The platform may have bugs, limitations, or unscheduled downtime. We work to keep things running but we do not guarantee uptime or specific service levels during the beta period. Beta access is provided as-is.

4. Your responsibilities

  • You must have authority to invite each candidate you add to the platform, and you must obtain consent from candidates to record and process their interview.
  • You agree not to use U-Screen to discriminate against candidates on the basis of protected characteristics, and you remain solely responsible for hiring decisions you make.
  • You agree not to misuse the service — no scraping, no reverse engineering, no using the platform to attack third parties.

5. Account security

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us at admin@useuscreen.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Fees

Beta pricing is agreed in writing per design partner. Fees are invoiced monthly in arrears unless otherwise specified.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms with notice. On termination, you can export your data for up to 30 days.

8. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you upload (job descriptions, candidate notes, etc.) and the transcripts and reports generated for your organization. We retain ownership of the U-Screen platform, brand, and underlying technology.

9. AI output

Evaluations, scores, and follow-up suggestions are produced by AI models and should be treated as decision support — not as hiring decisions. You remain responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before acting on it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Jurisdiction]. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these terms during beta. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
